Work experience is incredibly important for helping you find out what you do and do not like. It’s a great way to get first-hand experience of what a workplace is like and can help you set goals for your future career. Look below to find out tips on how to gain those relevant skills during the pandemic.

Work experience is really important for building the perfect job application and preparing yourself for the working world. So what on earth do we do during a pandemic? You’re probably thinking ‘Most people are working from home so surely they aren’t going to let me do any hands-on work experience?!’

Don’t panic! Our Aimhigher team have created a short PDF to help you with how you can build those important skills in the current climate. It’s also important to remember that this is a global pandemic…everyone is in the same boat and employers will be mindful of this!
