Reflecting on my time at uni – Mel’s Story
Before I started University, I was quiet, not so confident and indecisive about which area of performing arts I wanted to pursue. However, during my time as a student, I went through a process of personal development. University was the start of a new chapter. It was somewhere that I could go to really explore my passion for all things performing arts and meet likeminded people along the way. Opportunities – Kieran’s Story
When it comes to opportunities, I can not count the number that we as students were given. When we arrived at the university, the number of chances we got from the outset were incredible. Before the degree was even officially started, there was a board set up to get as many chances as we could possibly imagine! During my time at university, I was given the chance to work on two separate summer placements. The transition to uni can often be the toughest part for any student, especially if you’re having to change settings to go to uni. But if it’s anything like mine, then it can be made all the easier if you’re lecturers and fellow students are professional, but also laid back.
